Summary: A lookback on her Journey as an Abandoned Nurse and a Full Grandison Nursing Review
If you don't have experience it's fine. I believe that we already have a good foundation with the degree that we have in nursing but of course if you have experience it will be a advantage for you. I believe na kahit wala ka pang experience pwede ka nang mag-apply kasi you already have the foundations during your undergraduate and you just have to apply it. And we Filipinos are very careful and different when it comes to patient care. If you need guidance, there will always be someone who can train you on how to do things.
USRN Che, New Jersey
In this exclusive interview with Nurse Che, a Filipino Registered Nurse, who recounts her inspiring journey to becoming a USRN in a skilled nursing facility in New Jersey.
She details the comprehensive support provided by the Grandison recruitment agency, including initial accommodation and financial assistance, which she leveraged to secure funds for a car down payment.
Although she faced the significant personal challenge of homesickness after temporarily leaving her two children, Nurse Che expresses high satisfaction with her new environment, noting the advanced equipment and the welcoming, team-centric work culture.
She contrasts the collaborative US atmosphere with the more restrictive environment in the Philippines, highlighting how her US facility promotes professional advancement and offering her a Charge Nurse position shortly after arrival.
Ultimately, she strongly advocates for Grandison, recommending that even nurses with zero bedside experience seize the opportunity to work abroad for personal and financial growth.

Second is since this is USA we have to speak their language, good thing na lang we have a strong foundation of IELTS and we were taught how to speak English subject in school so it was a good foundation talaga for all Filipinos. But the challenge here is that I'm in New Jersey, some speak in Spanish so I try to learn a bit of Spanish. But I am just so blessed that the facility kasi very accommodating sila. I never felt na nagsisimula ako, they treat me equally.

In 2019 when I started my application with another agency but then I got abandoned and then I just asked for a release letter. Then I applied to Grandison and then they have me a list of requirements of what they need. Then they are very accommodating and then mabilis siya. They were very helpful and consistent with the follow-ups. Like for example, my license was New York so they also helped me with my licensed endorsement. So technically, I just waited to be deployed while they processed everything so I can come over to the USA.
